This week was the first food project I've ever had to do for school. (It was for my Pacific Island Studies class) so we were all given an island and asked to find a dish that the indigenous people of that island eat. My island was yap and I chose the most interesting (&disgusting) dish they serve; Fruit Bat Soup. Obviously I wasn't tryna find a fruit bat in Hawaii, so I used a Cornish Game Hen (shown below) that, in my opinion, resembles an obese fruit bat. In reality the fruit bat in Yap are served fully intact (without being skinned or eviscerated). This means fur, eyes, tongue, teeth EVERYTHING. The images in my presentation were really disgusting & I asked everyone to look away if they had a weak stomache. BUT I think the graphics and truelly bizarre dish I chose made my presentation a lot more interesting. Crossing my fingers and praying I get a good grade on this.
I would eat your soup it looks good.
